August 2026 - Coworking Day Khazana Foundation
In August, our team came together for a coworking day—a valuable opportunity to work side by side, exchange ideas, and reconnect outside our usual routines. Alongside making progress on ongoing activities, the day gave us space to discuss strategy and share inspiration. As an addition to this, the team of the Yourright Foundation joined along during the day for the teams to learn from each other’s experiences and give insight to both their work.
August 2026 - Ek Tara Feedback
After 6 weeks of implementing sessions on the newly launched Saksham project, our partner Ek Tara came back with a first recap on their learnings and outcomes. Across three sessions for both Junior (Classes 5–7) and Senior (Classes 8–12) groups, facilitators guided learners through stories, games, movement activities, and real life scenarios that make financial concepts relatable and practical.
What students learned:
• Money Awareness — understanding where money appears in daily life
• Needs vs. Wants — learning to differentiate essentials from desires
• Smart Choices — making thoughtful decisions using limited resources
• Goal Setting — connecting dreams with financial planning (Senior Group)
• Responsible Behaviour — practicing mindful spending and digital safety
July 2026 – Project Launch Ek Tara: Saksham Financial Literacy & Life Skills Programme
Empowering young learners with everyday money skills
The Saksham Financial Literacy & Life Skills Programme—implemented by Ek Tara and supported by Khazana Foundation—has officially launched its structured curriculum for students in Classes 5–12 and their parents, building essential money management and decisionmaking skills.
The July 2026 sessions marked the beginning of a transformative learning journey for 100 students at the Ek Tara Learning Centre. Through ageappropriate, activitybased modules, the programme introduces children and adolescents to the fundamentals of money, needs vs. wants, priorities, and responsible choices.
June 2026 - MobileSchool.org visit in Leuven
The Khazana team had the opportunity to visit our partner MobileSchool.org in Leuven, with whom the Foundation developed the ‘Fundamentals of Financial Literacy Toolkit’. Meeting in person provided valuable time to exchange ideas, reflect on our previous projects, and explore opportunities for the future.

March 2026 – Visit to Nav Srishti in New Delhi
Khazana Foundation’s co-founder, Solange, visited our partner Nav Srishti in New Delhi, where they are currently delivering the CDK (Children’s Development Khazana) programme.
Meeting the team, exchanging experiences, and seeing the programme in action provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen our connection and gain a deeper understanding of their work and the local context.
February 2026 – Webinars on entrepreneurial skills: Business Builders
In February 2026 the Khazana team participated in two (English, Spanish) interactive webinars for youth workers on the curriculum of entrepreneurial skills, co-developed with MobileSchool.org.
During the sessions, participants explored the curriculum, discussed practical tools and activities, and learned how to integrate entrepreneurial skills into their work with young people. The webinars also created space to exchange experiences, ask questions, and share ideas on how to adapt the curriculum to different local contexts. Find the link to the English webinar here.
December 2025 – Partner visits New Delhi
Three members of the Khazana team visited the office of Butterflies NGO in New Delhi, the organisation that conceptualized and initiated the CDK (Children’s Development Khazana) programme. The core objective of CDK is to promote life skills education through democratic participation, teach financial management, fundamentals of management, accountancy & banking principles and promote entrepreneurship.
The following partner visit was to Nav Srishti, our new partner in New Delhi that is actively implementing the CDK programme in their community. Together, the two visits offered a valuable experience.
December 2025 – First launch Entrepreneurial Skills project - Business Builders
At the beginning of December, three members of the Khazana team joined the first Asian StreetSmart Exchange, hosted by MobileSchool.org together with partner Ek Tara in Kalkota. Coordinators from India, Nepal, Jordan, Türkiye, the Philippines, and Mauritius came together to share challenges, exchange best practices, and explore the new tool focused on entrepreneurial skills, that the Khazana Foundation co-developed with MobileSchool.org. During an interactive session, the social workers were introduced to the role of entrepreneurial skills in youth work and explored how the new tool ‘Business Builders’ can be used in practice to support and empower.
